Since 2005, Spread Smile India has been working at the grassroots to create lasting change through education and empowerment. Founded by Sangita Mehra, the organisation is rooted in lived experience and the belief that every child deserves the opportunity to learn, grow, and thrive.
We work with marginalized communities in Delhi, providing holistic support that goes beyond classrooms—combining education with nutrition, skill development, emotional well-being, and family empowerment.

Our Story
Begin form the street
Sangita Mehra began her journey on the streets of Delhi, where she started helping children who were begging and gave them a path toward education and dignity.
First Classrooms
Launched structured learning programs for street children, turning pavements into pathways to education.
Health & Nutrition
Recognising that learning requires well-being, we introduced daily health checks and nutritious meals into our programs.
Empowering Women
Vocational training and skill development programs gave women the tools to achieve financial independence.
Building a Community
Spread a Smile has grown to support more than 200+ children, building a nurturing community that brings education, hope, and opportunities.
